Anga Alda

History - I was born in Britain, I was not permitted to play the games of the Humans as they would not accept me as one of their own. My Father discussed this with my Mother, they believed that it was important for me to play with my own race. So we prepared for the long and tiring journey to the forests of Yew. After about one full year of walking or so it would seem, We arrived in Yew.

The trees were magnificent, the birds singing the deer playing. I loved what i saw. My Father was checking his map, when a large band of orcs made a swift attack killing my father with a single blow to the head, my mother screamed and ran as I watched from the log i was hiding behind, I witnessed the murder of my own Mother, killed by the ruthless band of orcs. Hiding until they left I went to my Mother and Fathers bodies, I gave them a simple burial and scavenged what I could from the corpses and backpacks.

In one of the packs I saw half a map, it was torn on the Western side. With the dagger and cloak my Father gave me, and with what little food I had, I travelled East. Wandering the forests for days, weeks, or months even. I stumbled across an enourmous Abbey. I later recognized it as Empath Abbey from the stories my Mother had told me. I soon met many people willing to help me get myself cleaned up. I did eventually find my way to the Yew woodworks.

Purchasing a bow and a quiver of arrows with my last coins. I went into my own personal training. I hunted Deer for food and chopped trees for fire wood. I travelled the forests for years. I became known by the locals as the wanderer.

Befriended by a wandering traveller, who called himself Morgath. I trusted him, and became his friend. For many weeks we travelled together, he was always saying he would help me find tel'Mithrim. As the dawn of a new day came we once again began our adventures. Something was different though, Morgath seemed quiet. He took me to a clearing and told me that to the West was tel'Ruid. He said his farewells and as I went down on one knee to bow, he drew his sword and thrust it into my stomach. I layed there like a deer waiting for the blow to the head from its hunter. He took all my belongings and all my food. Minutes after he had gone an adventurer named Thomas came along and saw me. He took me to his master who healed my wounds and gave me food and drink.

I was thankful. Thomas came into the room holding my cloak. It was a present from my Father, a cloak of protection. Morgath hadn't taken it. I put it on and Thomas took me to the Abbey once again. Using what knowledge he had we walked East. Only by pure luck did I find a person talking about the Grey Company I asked him what it was, he said 'they are elven folk who live east of here.' I pondered this for a moment. Then not knowing the truth I asked him if they would know where tel'Ruid may be. He replied telling me all the information I needed including telling me that tel'Ruid was the home of tel'Mithrim or The Grey Company. He soon opened a portal to tel'Ruid. He introduced me to Lightheart.

Ever since I have been mingling with the elves of tel'Ruid, i have been for about one month now This makes me approximatly 26 1/2 years old. Since this time Lightheart and the Elves of tel'Ruid taught me basic Elven and more advanced hunting techniqes. I am now living in tel'Ruid as a wandering elf, looking for a sponser to help me become what my Father always wished me to be... A Cuar/Soorar.
