Tel'Mithrim - Laerithil Irithyl

History - Laerithil is the only son of Elroth Irithyl, elder brother of Coronal Eltargrim Irithyl, and his wife, a gold elf of House Hawksong with moon elven blood. He was born in Semberholme in 146 DR, the Year of the Risen Towers. Laerithil grew up with the traditional bias of the gold elves, feeling he is superior to all other humanoids save other gold elves. He was tutored by the High Mage of Semberholme, an aged elf named Entrydal Fflannidan, in the Art, and by a retired Akh'Velahr Protector, a fighter-mage named Elanjas Haevault. He joined the Akh'Velahr Protectors, and progressed through the ranks until he was an Arykerym. In 596 DR, he was inducted into the ultra-secret group known as the Selu'taar, or High Magi. He fought in the Weeping War and the Fall of Myth Drannor, fighting to the last possible moment before retreating with the last refugees. If the Ar'Cor'Kerym elfblade hadn't been lost some years before, he would've become Coronal. Instead, he took up a place in Elven Court for a short time, arguing against Retreat. He became sick of it and was just about to pass west to Evermeet when Corellon came to him in the forest. He was told...to "seek She Who Rules the Heart with the tool for the task."It took Laerithil several decades to piece together what this meant and found "She Who Rules the Heart" to be his old mentor, the Srinshee, who was the last holder of the "tool for the task", the Ar'Cor'Kerym elfblade. He traveled to ruined Myth Drannor and retrieved the elfblade from her, becoming Coronal in his own right, but alas, the Council of Elders at Elven Court had ordered Retreat before he could assume his rightful place as Coronal. By the time he arrived home in the Tangled Trees, his country was so derelict he took to wandering the Realms in an effort to somehow reverse the order to Retreat. This led him to a band of elves in Neverwinter called Tel'Mithrim, and from Neverwinter with this band of misfits from Evereska to the world of Sosaria.
