Tylleina
Also Known As - Tyl

Description - Vedui' my friends, although my name is Tylleina I would like my friends to call me Tyl. To the casual observer I seem a young elf, but under the very fair skin; twinkling and mischievous sky blue eyes and long redish golden hair is the heart of a predator. The only risk from the hunter in me is to the evil denizen or a source of food needed to sustain life. I am average height to slightly small for the elves in my family. But what I lack in size I make for with a passionate heart. You will seldom see me without my trusty bow slung over my shoulder and full quiver of arrows on my back.

History - The first 240 years of her life had gone fairly uneventfully. Well that is if you didn't consider falling so deeply in love as a child that she had never recovered, developing a deep taig sense, and losing then finding that one true bonded love again. Not bad for such a short time and so much more to follow, or so she hoped. Tylleina smiled to herself as she picked her way through the forest to the Silver Arrow and there to meet up with her new friends and her rediscovered love. She stopped to survey the land and brush her golden blond hair back. Yes Morion loved the long waves that cascaded down her back, but and here she grimaced, he didn't have to keep the twigs and leaves out of them. She smiled again thinking of the romps they had had as small children when their families had lived in Jhelom. The time spent near or in the sea, one would almost have thought them sea nymphs. She giggled at the thought. Her skin wasn't near close enough to green for that. In fact it was a very soft tan almost too pale to be seen in the moonlight. Spying a fallen log under a lovely beech tree she decided to sit for a moment and think about all the things that had happened to her. So she sat contentedly, laid her head back against the tree and let her mind wander.
She was born into a happy family and was her parents cherished only child. Her parents were generous in their love as well as their understanding of her need for solitude. She loved those private moments when she could sit and think or work on her chosen skills. She was determined to become a great archer and an even better bowcrafter. At this thought Tyl sneered for in reality these desires were as much to attract Morion Kuu as to show skill. She sighed at the thought of Morion Kuu. They had been innocent sweethearts in their childhood. But for her it was a deeply rooted love and although she was young it was not given lightly. Morion cared for her, but it seemed it was just a passing fancy for him. As it was for most young boys that age. As he grew older they drifted apart, him to other sweethearts and her to her skills. But she always seemed to know where he was. That was one of her gifts and her curses. For she could sense where one she loved was, almost as if she could feel the heart beat. Her other gift that she shared with most elves, other than the bowcraft, was her ability to feel the health of the land. This gift eventually pulled her out of her home and into the dangerous world of fighting evil. Some she had done alone and some with others but all with the intent of destroying it whenever she found it. She had been wondering where Morion had ended up, since eventually she lost the feel for where he was. Not because she loved him less, the distance was just too great.
One of her quests against this ever present evil had brought her to an elven town, Tel'Ruid. It was set in a lovely glade of trees and was so pretty to the eyes. She felt at home immediately. But having been on the road for several days she didn't take time to just take it all in, she looked for the local eatery and found in in the Silver Arrow Tavern. It was an imposing gray stone building of one story but sturdy size. She opened the doors to be greated by the warmth and delicious smells from the kitchen. As her eyes adjusted to the darker interor and smoky haze found in any of these inns she was slowly aware of several pairs of eyes taking note of her and then going back to their own conversations or meals. Quietly Tyl made her way to a table, ordered her food and drink and sat back quietly. So for the next few weeks this became her temporary home.
As the local elves became used to her they would greet her "Vedui' Tyl" when she came for her noon repast. It was becoming a habit that she enjoyed even if she could fix her own food; she missed the company of her own kind. It was at one of these meals that Morion had entered the room. She was quietly sitting talking with two new friends she had made when the door opened and he came in. In one way she wasn't surprised for it explained the faint itching feeling she had had, but in another she was profoundly shocked to see him here. It didn't seem that he had noticed her for he went on to sit at a table in the corner and order his food and drink. Tyl finished her repast, politely left her new friends and left the Arrow as quickly as she could. This was going to take some thinking. Remembering a spot that had a grest overlook of the valley and the Tel'Ruid glade she headed there to figure things out. This silence between them couldn't go on for much longer but she had to make up her mind what she wanted to do. She found her favorite rock and sat down to think, this time she was going to set the rules.
Her mind slowly drifted back from that time, now almost a year ago. Shifting her weight slightly on the beech log she considered standing up. Sighing happily and noting her wedding band she knew that part of her life was under control. Now if she could just get the rest to work. Tyl grinned at her presumptuousness. But she would be one of the reasons the building evil was going to fail. SHe was going to deafeat it and help to preseve the way of life in Tel'Ruid her adopted home where she and Morion were living and would live out the rest of their life.
