A strange creature was brought to my work bench this evening by Ostar forces. Apparently it attacked an elf near the Silver Arrow tavern and was then slain. Since no one has seen such a creature before it was decided to bring it to me for a thorough examination. These are the notes on my findings...It is a small bodied creature with a wiry musculature. It looks to be about four feet from crown to heel, but I don't believe it would stand that tall. It's spinal column is curved, indicating a fairly hunched posture. Relatively long arms combined with this posture would seem to indicate that it moves rather like the great apes of the southern forests.
It has thin mottled black skin over most of its body. The exception is its head, where the skin fades into a starkly contrasting white. The skin is not scaly but resembles the normal skin of a mammal. Despite the rumored name of this creature being "skin stealer", I can see nothing here to indicate its skin is in any way unusual.
The head is slightly elongated near the front and I see no eyes. Probes of the skull show there are no eye sockets, so it would seem to be effectively blind.
The arms are long and spindley, definately used for locomotion. They end in large, two-clawed hands. The claws are covered in dirt so it appears that it digs these claws into the ground, probably while running. The tracks made by this creature would be very distinct indeed.
The blood of the creature is a darkish red, nearly black. An examination of the stomach contents turned up a small amount of partially digested flesh. The rest of the internal organs appear basicly mammalian...two lungs, one heart, typical digestive tract...except for one glaring oddity. It appears to be completely without gender.
