Galethien neared Ea'manne Tasartir, at the same time she could feel a sense of heaviness lingering in the nights air of the Glade. Quietly she approached the tower, climbed down of Elombor. The tower laid in darkness and silence was its master.

"Wait here Elombor." She said as she stroked his muzzle and in return Elombor nuzzled her hand as if he understood. Galethien reached down in her boot to reach for her dagger and tucked in to her waistband. Stepping in to the first floor foyer Galethien found a lantern and lit it. She turned to go upstairs to the second floor

"Ea'manne? Are you here?" She called out. But there was no answer.

Upon entering the room, it had shown signs of a struggle and dread crept upon Galethien. She turned around to make her way to the garden. Setting the lantern down on the bench, she stood looking at the empty place where the Mallorn had once stood. The crystal had shown what was to be true.

The sound of footsteps interrupted Galethien's thought. She quickly withdrew her dagger from its resting-place. And hid in the shadows of the garden and waited for unseen entity.

Galethien stepped back into the light when she recognized the footsteps belonging to Ea'mmane. She tucked her dagger back into her waistband.

"Ea'mmane, The Mallorn, taken by the Orcs was it not? Galethien asked.

Ea'mmane nodded "Uma. I did not hear them come approached the tower and enter it. One of which was a mage and cast a spell of paralyze. They then went to roof and took the Mallorn and ran off back into the forest.

Galethien nodded" I saw it happen in the crystal, one thing I am not clear of is if it showed me before it happened or as it happened. There is still much I don't understand about it. Rest of the Glade has been alerted?"

"Uma. When the spell wore off I ran to the Silver Arrow. Brisid, Calista and a few patrons were there. We searched the forest near by, but did not find anything. We all went back to the Arrow. There was a ransom letter that was left behind I found up here in the garden, I gave it to Brisid. It said something about the Orcs would give us back the Mallorn if we return the Helm. But we don't have the helm in our possession."

Galethien sat down on the bench. "Then that means someone at the Festival had taken it, leaving us unaware of its present in Tel'Ruid that night."

Ea'mmane sat down on the bench next to Galethien. "Uma, that seams to be true. We talked at the Arrow of a and agreed a guest had taken it. Do you have a list of those that partook in the Runebook hunt?"

"Uma. I will have to retrieve it from home."

"Everybody has already retired for the night. There's not much that can be done till we find the thief and find the helm."

Galethien stood up. " I gather the list together and give to Brisid in the morning. Quel undome Ea'mmane, when we get the Mallorn back in its rightful place unharmed, I'narr en gothrim glinuva nuin I'anor."

Ea'manne nodded and smiled.

Galethien took leave of the tower, "Come On boy, let's go home."
