Over time, the deceased body of Caramon Majere (now inhabited by Khellenduras) began to decay. After a period, Khell was left with a mummified husk... Terrified of true death and seeking perfect immortalility, he watched the necromancer Mord'sythe from a distance, trying to learn his regenerative spell-like illness he afflicted the glade's citizens with...

With Mor'ds disappearence however, Khell was forced to gain the knowledge from the elf and one-time-pupil of Mord'sythe, Myra Sunviel. Tweaking the spell Myra provided him with, he used this sorcery to drain both the drowess Euol and the half-elven child Rayne Thorne of thier life-energies, thus killing them and replenishing his form...

Effort is being taken to find the source of Khell's power, a mythological "trinket" known as a phylactery. At the current moment, this "phylactery's" wereabouts remain unknown.

Now, almost complete in phsyical body and power, Khell resides within the abandoned tower of Semper Intus Noctem, the same tower once occupied by the missing Mord'sythe, Scion and servant of Baal'morda. Judging by the books found scattered within the tower, Khell is studying the mythology of Sosaria's dieties. Whatever the lich's reason for this study may be, it is no doubt malicious...
