Myra came to full consciousness in a cold sweat. She had thought that the Reverie would spare her from nightmares... instead, this night she had relived her ordeals with Baal'morda. Even in the still night air on the top of her small tower by the sea, she could almost hear Trenton Sythe and Baal'morda's final words to her.

She sat up and looked about. Three days, Khellenduras had told her. Three days, or her loved ones would die. She frowned. In all honesty, she knew she didn't have to believe this. Her loved ones were very capable of taking care of themselves, yet something within her could not let this threat stand as hollow.

Preparing herself, she whispered the words that would take her to Moonglow. She had things to research, and where better to begin than the Mage Tower? Unfortunately that meant a journey to the 'dead lands'. Arriving at Encyclopedia Magicka, she walked behind the building and up the peninsula. Burying the stone in the soft earth, she waited. The gate appeared and she stepped through, instantling willing herself to meld with the shadows upon her arrival. From her the safety of the shadows she made certain there was no immediate danger and made her way into the floating tower.

It was intimidating the first time she visited, but this time she had a mission and no grand show of magic (specifically the floating tower itself) was going to distract her for very long. Quickly she made her way to the shelves, only pulling out the books with titles that seemed relevant. To her dismay, a great many of the books seemed to have been copied by a lazy scribe. Most of the texts seemed to cut off abruptly at their 20th page. In frustration she stalked every inch of the Mage Tower, perusing all the books she could find.

There was nothing of what she sought there.

She finally made her way to the roof and stood looking out towards Moonglow, when she heard footsteps behind her. Turning about, afraid of what she'd see, she recognized Ian. Relaxing a little, the exchanged the usual pleasantries.

After venting her frustrations at not finding the information she wanted, Ian suggested the Destiny library. Myra remembered her brief tour there with Aramir and agreed it would be a good place to look. To Myra's dismay, the Destiny library was(is) being moved to a new location, in the Trammel lands, apparently. She sighed. She realized she had no runes for these dead lands. She looked about upstairs and saw a rune that caught her attention. The Jhelom Library She smiled. She wanted to see that place again. And so she did.

After a time, Ian had to depart, so she bid him farewell and sat in the silence of the room beneath the Jhelom Museum. Sighing, she decided it was time to search for her answers a little closer to the source.

She made her way to the Jhelom moongate and crossed back to the living world she called home, just outside Yew. She journeyed east for half as long as it would take her to reach Tel'Ruid. The stone edifice she sought rose on the horizon, a strong tall Yew tree stood as it's backdrop.

Cautiously she pushed open the door to the small tower. She half expected to see Trenton sitting in his usual seat, sharpening his scimitar, or perhaps smiling at her arrival. It was not so. Somewhere inside she was disappointed, and at the same time relieved.

Climbing the stairs she looked around the second floor. This was where she should have started to begin with. She didn't expect to find the answers written out on any parchment, or in any text, but the first step to finding anything, was to look. And so she cleared the table, pulled the books off the shelves and took a seat.

She poured over tome after tome. Her eyes became sore and while she was gleaning new information from old texts... her frustration grew. Finally, not unlike nights before, Myra succumbed to exhaustion and fell asleep in Trenton Sythe's tower.
