Myra awoke in the depths of the Yew Crypts. Rubbing her tired eyes, she tried to remember how she came to be there....

Coming back from an evening out hunting with Mark and RZ at the daemon temple, she found a tattered letter lying on the floor just inside her door. She stooped down to pick it up and as she raised her eyes, she caught a glimpse of a familiar shape in the corner, his eyes, crimson pinpoints, staring at her. Hesitantly she began to unfold the note, her eyes scanning over it and he disappeared into the ether.

The letter was a little hard to follow, being an outdated form of common, but she made what she could of the exceptionally dark writing.

"Myra,
Those who are close to you are safe for the moment. I am aware that you are diligently searching for the material I requested... Therefore, I shall let them live, even watch over them as my own. Thus is my gratitude for your aid.

However. Your three days has come to an end. As long as you continue to voluntarily aid me in my quest for knowledge, those you hold dear will continue to be safe, guarded under my wing. But do know that my threats are not empty. With each passing day that this information slips through your grasp, an innocent member of the Grey Company, or perhaps even the lowly visitors or citizens of the Glade, will be visted by myself, and used in hopes of discovering the spell on my own.

If you refuse to help me and leave on or against your own will, then I will indeed hunt down all those you love - Kin or otherwise.

Serve me and you will be rewarded child.... and those you love will be spared.

Khellenduras"

She folded the piece of paper and put it in her pocket. Her mind a whirl of thoughts, she travelled to Tel'Ruid. After a few passes, she decided to stop by the Arrow. Only Mely seemed to be around, with her steed, Kaane. They exchanged greetings and Myra took the note from her pocket to look over it again. No sooner had Mely asked what it was and Myra answered, the door opened and a man who stood there motioned urgently to Mely. Myra went back to contemplating the letter when she heard a scream outside. Seconds later, Melyanna stumbled through the doors, wounded seriously.

Myra hurried over and fumbled with some bandages from her healing bag. After quite a few tries of mixtures of herbs and poultices, Myra finally managed to remember a little something of her training in healing and did what she could for her. Myra helped her to a seat at the bar and sent a letter off to Glor. He would know what to do, he had to.

Mely was very obviously disturbed by whomever had harmed her. She kept saying his face had melted away. In no time, Glor arrived, and took over. From what Mely was saying, Myra *knew* it had been Khellenduras. She frowned and looked over the note again. Her frown deepened. She had misunderstood it the first time she read it.

But how was hurting Mely going to help him find his own spell to restore his life and form?

Glor and Myra helped get Mely home and into bed. Kirel was on a journey home and wasn't about. Glor asked Myra to stay with Mely... he was going to the Crypts to find Khellenduras. When he departed, Mely reassured Myra she would be fine with Kaane to help her. And that she would be safe in her own home. Mely asked her to go keep an eye on Glor. Myra nodded and apologized to Mely. She had searched all night. As much of the Crypts as she knew. And saw only signs of Glor's brief passing. Perhaps he had just made a sweep through and left?

Exhausted, she had stopped, telling herself she'd only rest for a moment, then move on.

Apparently that 'moment' had turned into a days long nap. Standing up, Myra straigtened out her clothes and began her long walk home, wondering if any one else had been hurt...
