Khellenduras sat quietly at his desk, penning notes into a book as he spoke."You understand then what you are to do..?"
The warrior, standing motionless on the other side of the desk, took a moment to answer; Even the "casual" actions of Khellenduras were to some extent unnerving to watch, comming forth as grotesque mockeries of everyday life.
Khell looked up, waiting for an answer, pen poised in his gloved hand. The warrior jolted to life.
"Of course, yes... I will find what you need." the man answered, staring into the empty sockets that once housed the eyes of Caramon Majere. "that is, if you uphold your end of the bargin.." he added hastily.
Khell continued penning in the journal.
"You will uphold your end of the bargin, wont you..?" The warrior asked after what seemed like an eternity.
Khell continued penning, not bothering to look up as he answered. "That remains to be seen..If you return with what i requested, then i to shall give you what you ask for. If you fail, i will not give you the oportunity to redeem yourself."
The lightly armored man only watched the dead thing continue writting, unsure as to wheter the lich's comment was a threat or merely a term in the pact they made. After a brief moment, the warrior nodded.
"Fine then. I will make sure i do not fail." The warrior hefted his shield and strapped it to his back. Walking towards the stairs, he paused a moment to consider what he had just done. Shaking the doubts from his mind, he decended from the tower's study and exited the structure. Trecking towards Yew, he convinced himself that he had done the right thing..Yet doubt, perhaps fear, still lingered in the back of his thoughts. He gave an audible sigh and slightly shook his head. Perhaps he was begining to know how Myra felt...

In a tower next to the crypts, overlooking the glade, Khellenduras finished his most recent study on deities. Placing the pen back in it's ink resevoir and closing his book, the undead monstrosity walked towards a window slit in the room's wall. Looking out over the vast forests with empty sockets, a cold, grey smile twisted itself unto the being's dead features....
He had found a replacement for his little "Shadow Walker".
